PORTAIT GALLERIES
Ah, now here’s where things get a little interesting. The Portrait Image (The Candid Portrait). I have two entire galleries dedicated to the portrait-oriented composition: STREET 4 and 5. Sometimes, depending on my mood, the music I’m listening to… sometimes I’m taken aback, overwhelmed. Moved. Nothing to do with my photography, but everything to do with the beauty we are surround with every day, that unfortunately, we’ve become blind to (unless you a little strange like me). For all women out there, who take the time each morning… look at the mirror on the way out, wonder if anyone cares, will anyone notice? I notice. It’s become impossible for me to not notice, the result of which is contained in these galleries. Listen. I always share these images under the title of Street Photography, but I’ll let you in on a secret: I’m not a street photographer. I’m a portrait photographer, with all that I’m am (I just happen to be doing it out on the street). I challenge you. Enter one of these galleries, close your eyes, flick-scroll a few times randomly, stop, click on an image and look – look for as long as you are able to. I mean, really look.
